According to Bloomberg, There are now over 1000 licensed cannabis stores in Canada. Thanks to the push to move away from the black market by Ontario and B.C., more weed stores are opening to bring customers a safe and legal way to purchase quality products. Alberta continues to lead the way holding nearly half of all of Canada’s stores. This comes less than two years after cannabis has become legal in Canada.
What doe this mean for cannabis in Canada? As we move away from the black market, producers and processors will be incentivized to create an even greater number of quality products for consumption on the legal market.
